| What
happens to unsold items? |
|
Atlas Frontiers sells almost everything we
accept,
but in the unlikely event that an auction goes unsold, you can always
pick up your property from our warehouse in Boise. Following an
unsuccessful auction we will hold your goods and wait for you to pick up
the item. If you don't want to hassle with it, we can donate the item
to a tax-deductible charity of your choice. We will manage the item through to the end.

| What is your commission? |
|
Our
commission ranges typically from 1/4 to 1/3 of the sale price
depending on
the value of the final sale. We take a smaller cut on higher
value items and will negotiate on special assets. We also ask that the
owner cover the
direct costs incurred from the online listing service (i.e. eBay
listing fees and final value % paid to eBay). We cover all credit card
and transaction costs. Details of all rate options can be found on our rates
page.

Do you only sell on eBay?
|
|
Not all the time. We utilize several online
marketplaces to find the right place and the right time to drop your
item into the online economy. The lion's share of online buyers search
eBay so most of our listings end up there.

| What does target market research mean? |
|
We
subscribe to several marketplace research
services that help us to pinpoint opportunities for your goods.
Our listers research the best keywords to use to ensure your
asset reaches the most qualified buyers possible.

|
| Why are the advantages of selling online? |
|
You
have access to millions of potential
buyers
that pay market prices for you goods. In addition, the online auction
marketplace is a great place to find national average prices on new and
used items. For example, the local manufacturing plant may have shut
down, rendering a lathe nearly valueless in the local market.
With our resell management service that asset will find a market
with a need for that specific lathe.
Or,
take the case of a panoramic X-Ray that we sold to a not for profit
group in Tanzania. Here in the states the X-ray was considered an
older model on it's way out the door, but for this company in Tanzania,
they were willing to pay a premium.

| Who pays for shipping? |
|
The buyer pays for shipping and we manage

|
| Do you buy our items outright? |
|
We do not, our business is strictly
consignment. We take our commission off the final sales value so that you can predict the amount you get back.

|
| Can you sell anything? |
|
You'd be surprised what we can sell. Fill
out our Value
Estimation
form and we will estimate what your equipment or
goods might be worth. Sometime higher valued items take a while
to find a qualified buyer willing to pay a full price, other items have
a seller before we even receive it.
